Privacy
What this site collects, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. In short: no analytics, no tracking cookies, and nothing sold to anyone.
Who is responsible
PaintedApp, LLC runs painted.agency (“we” on this page). Write to support@painted.app about anything here, including a request to see or delete what we hold. Post: 1327 SE Tacoma St #394, Portland, OR 97202.
What we collect, and when
- When you browse. Nothing that identifies you. The site runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. Vercel, which hosts it, keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, the page asked for) under its own retention rules.
- Your cart and project boards. Kept in your own browser’s storage. The cart reaches us only when you check out; a board travels only inside a link you choose to send.
- When you check out. Stripe collects your card, name, email, billing and shipping address on its own page. We receive your name, email, shipping address and what you bought. Card numbers never reach us.
- When we print and ship. Printful or Prodigi receives the print file, your name and your shipping address, and nothing else.
- When we email you. Order and trade email goes out through Resend, which handles your address and the message.
- When you use the Curator. A room photo is reduced in your browser, then sent to Anthropic’s Claude model to read the room: its type, its colours, the wall. We use the result to show pieces on your wall and do not store the photo. Questions you type to the Curator or the Docent go to Anthropic to write the answer.
- When you use the Studio or Travel. The words you type are checked by OpenAI’s moderation and painted by OpenAI’s image model. The words and the finished poster are kept in Vercel Blob so the poster can be printed if you order it. A signed cookie and a one-way hash of your IP address count previews so the daily limit holds; the hash cannot be turned back into the address.
- When you apply for a trade account. Your name, studio, email, website, resale or tax id if given, the kinds of project you take on, and your message. Stored in Vercel Blob at an address nobody can guess, and emailed to us through Resend so a person can read it.
- When you write to us. We keep the email thread so we can answer it.
