Terms of sale and use
The agreement between you and PaintedApp, LLC when you use painted.agency or buy anything through it.
Who you are buying from
PaintedApp, LLC, 1327 SE Tacoma St #394, Portland, OR 97202, trading as Painted Agency. By using the site or placing an order you accept these terms. Questions go to support@painted.app.
What is sold here
Prints, canvases and framed prints of work made by the Painted studios and restored by the Provenance houses, and posters made to order in the Studio and Travel sections. Nobody else’s work is sold here. Each size offered for a piece has passed our print check for that piece at that size; a size that failed is not offered.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Checkout sets the price on our server when you order, whatever a page, a feed or an assistant showed earlier, and you see that price before you pay. Shipping and any sales tax are added at checkout. Stripe takes the payment; we never see your card number.
Making and delivery
Every order is printed to order by Printful or Prodigi and shipped by them. Delivery is covered on the shipping page.
Returns and replacements

Trade accounts
A trade code is issued to one studio or business for its own projects and its clients’ projects. The trade rate is applied at checkout. A code that is published or passed on stops working, and orders placed with it are charged at retail.
The Studio and Travel
Requests that name a living artist, an artist who died after 1955, a brand or a trademark are refused, as are requests the moderation check flags. Previews are watermarked; the print is made from the unmarked file only after you order. [[COUNSEL: ownership of and licence to posters made in the Studio]]
Ownership
The Provenance pieces are restorations of works in the public domain. The restorations, the studio paintings, the catalogue text and this site are ours. Buying a print gives you the print, not the right to reproduce the image.
Using the site
The feeds and the MCP server described on the agents page are there for software that finds and prices our art, within the rate limits stated there. Do not try to break the site, overload it, or pay with a card that is not yours.

Changes
We post every change on this page and move the effective date at the top. An order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed.
