Ocean Liner Deco
Hulls as monuments, airbrushed steel and a horizon ruled by a straight edge.
- Era
- 1920s to 1930s
- The look
- A hull drawn as a monument, airbrushed steel, and a horizon ruled with a straight edge.
- What we keep
- The low viewpoint, the geometry, the four-colour discipline of navy, black, red and cream.
- What we never copy
- No shipping line’s name, flag or funnel colours, and nothing traced from a known poster. Every ship is invented.
