Andreas Cellarius mapped the heavens with all the Baroque splendour a cartographer would lavish on a kingdom. His northern hemisphere gathers the constellations of the boreal sky into a single gold-and-azure disc — the gods and beasts of antiquity drawn in flowing line over their stars, cherubs and cloud framing the whole. The Harmonia Macrocosmica of 1660 is the most beautiful celestial atlas ever printed, and this is its glory: the night sky rendered as a work of art worthy of what it depicts.

Before a size goes on sale, the file is measured against it: pixels per inch at that size, how much of the picture a crop would lose, tone and sharpness. A size that fails is not offered, so there is nothing to choose wrong.
