Scorpio, from Sidney Hall's Urania's Mirror (1825), gives the zodiac constellation a full articulated body — jointed tail curled to strike, claws spread wide across the neighboring boundary with Libra (a sign the ancients once considered Scorpio's own claws before Libra was carved out as separate). Antares, the star marking the scorpion's heart, is labeled by its old alternate name Cor Scorpii and shines as one of the sky's brightest red supergiants — bright enough that ancient astronomers across multiple cultures independently named it 'rival of Mars' for its ruddy color. What to notice: like every Urania's Mirror card, the stars aren't just labeled but pierced through the card itself, so held up to a lamp, Scorpio's whole articulated body would glow with actual starlight in its true positions.

Before a size goes on sale, the file is measured against it: pixels per inch at that size, how much of the picture a crop would lose, tone and sharpness. A size that fails is not offered, so there is nothing to choose wrong.
