See pieces like it you can buyMaria Clara Eimmart grew up in her father's observatory in Nuremberg and became a fine astronomer in her own right, making some three hundred and fifty exquisite drawings of the Moon through every stage of its cycle — luminous chalk and pastel on board primed a deep blue, the changing face of the Moon rendered with a patience and beauty few equalled. She died in childbirth at thirty-one, and was very nearly forgotten. Her Moons are a quiet monument to a lost talent, and to all the women who watched the sky.

Before a size goes on sale, the file is measured against it: pixels per inch at that size, how much of the picture a crop would lose, tone and sharpness. A size that fails is not offered, so there is nothing to choose wrong.
