The Maiden, often named as Astraea, goddess of justice — the last of the immortals to abandon the Earth as humankind fell into wickedness, ascending to the stars in sorrow. She holds a sheaf of wheat, marked by the brilliant star Spica. Second-largest constellation in all the sky. (For those born about August 23 – September 22.)
