A 1922 one-sheet for the Sleepy Hollow Corporation's adaptation of the Irving tale, directed by Edward D. Venturini. One of the earliest American features to shoot on the real ground of the story it told, and an early instance of a horror image being used as the whole of a film's advertising rather than a detail within it. The rider is given the full height of the sheet; the title bar is squeezed to whatever space is left. A folk tale that outlived every print of the film.
