Chamonix, in the Mid-Century Illustration tradition (1950s). Loose shapes, colour that slips past its outline, and a skyline in a good mood. The Departure Board drew it from the place’s own motifs (glacier, cable car, Mont Blanc) and left it unlettered: the title carries the place.
