Roger Broders’ resort poster for Vichy, selling its springs, its theatre, and its golf in one sheet. Broders is the defining artist of the French travel poster, and this is the form at its most confident — a whole holiday compressed into one flat image. Golf is one item on a list. It has become part of what a resort simply has. The game stopped being a reason to travel and became a reason to stay.
