A chromolithographed one-sheet, 108 by 72 cm, published by Proletkino in Moscow in 1926. Proletkino was one of the smaller studios competing in the crowded mid-1920s Soviet market, and its surviving graphic output is correspondingly thin. The film itself is largely lost to general circulation; the poster is much of what remains of it. The mechanical metaphor carried into the drawing itself — the sheet is organised as an assembly, parts fitted to parts. A person described as a component, and advertised as one.
