A whole town emptied onto the frozen water: skaters, sleighs, kolf players, and a great pale sky over all of it. The most complete statement of the winter-game panorama, and one of the few scans in the house big enough to hang at size. The horizon sits low and the sky takes two thirds — the weather is the real subject. A cold day is only a problem if you stay indoors.
