A. B. Frost’s illustrated alphabet of golf, every letter a small disaster on a links. Frost was America’s great comic draughtsman of sport, and this is the funniest single sheet in the house. Read the whole grid: the joke is cumulative, and it is entirely about failure. The game gave comedy twenty-six starting points and has never run short.
