A terracotta oinochoe of the chous shape — the wine-jug filled at the Anthesteria, the Athenian festival of the new wine. A faithful reproduction of a public-domain work in The Metropolitan Museum (CC0). The object exactly as it survives, at print scale. The squat body is built to be held one-handed, mid-pour, mid-party. A whole festival fits in one jug.

Before a size goes on sale, the file is measured against it: pixels per inch at that size, how much of the picture a crop would lose, tone and sharpness. A size that fails is not offered, so there is nothing to choose wrong.
