A. M. Bininger & Co.'s New York-bottled Kentucky bourbon, labeled with a chromolithograph of a woman carrying grain sheaves — the raw material personified. Bininger & Co. dissolved in the 19th century with no modern revival; this is pre-Bininger-era Americana, older than the house's core 1880s window but the same dead-mark doctrine applies. The label-as-artwork format — this predates the poster-scale advertising the rest of this collection favors, closer to trade-card illustration blown up to the bottle's own sheet. The label survived the bottle by a century and a half.

Before a size goes on sale, the file is measured against it: pixels per inch at that size, how much of the picture a crop would lose, tone and sharpness. A size that fails is not offered, so there is nothing to choose wrong.
