A whiskey-cordial label from a Harrison County, Kentucky producer — one of the earliest confirmed pieces in this collection, predating the Civil War. A small regional distiller with no modern trace; the dead-mark case at its plainest — no scandal, no ban, just a business that didn't last. How assured the sheet already looks by 1857 — the whiskey-label format was fully mature a full generation before the poster-scale advertising boom of the 1880s and 1890s. The oldest ghost in the room.
